OVERVIEW
People who are emotionally adept, who know and manage their feelings well, who read and deal effectively with other people's feelings have an advantage in life, they are more productive, more effective and more successful than those who cannot master the habits of the mind, who cannot marshal some control over their emotional life and who cannot win the inner battles that sabotage their ability for focused work and clear thought.
